Bubble Pocket Shorts - Pattern Review

Hi there!
We are back for one more Monthly Pattern Review. Today we are going to talk about the Bubble Pocket Shorts, by Elegance& Elephants
Assembling the pattern. 5* on this cathegory! No need to assemble together pages and pages of papper.
Number of pieces: Quite a lot of pieces in the "puzzle" to sew together, but the construction of the shorts it's quick.
Instructions: Very clear and detailed step by step, with loads of illustrations.
Possible versions of the pattern: The Bubble Shorts pattern include two styles: Classic and sailor.  Not many versions, but the shorts have already a lot of details. I don't find necessary to include more options here.Only suitable for girls.
Size range:  6M up to 8 years
Problems: I had some size issues, The 12M was too small on Teresinha (8mths old, normal measurements) and then I've made the 18M size that was perfect in size but too long and to large on the legs. They fit perfect on Blanca (16M, small sized girl). Also, the waist band was too long, I had to take around 1 1/2 inch each strap to fit the shorts.
Final Result: Very cute shorts! They look perfect on the girls!
If I recommend this pattern? YES! Do I want to make more? MANY MORE!

The Bubble Pocket Shorts. 18 month size. Classic Style

On Teresinha:
On Blanca: Just Perfect!
