Sunday Picnic Dress Blog Tour

I've seen a lot of things from Sewpony Vintage but it was the first time I've sewed one of Suz patterns and I have to say... I'm really happy with the result! The design is quite original, different from the typical dresses on the pdf pattern world.
Ladies and gentlemen I present you the Sunday Picnic Dress! (Although I'm sure the major part of you already has this pattern :-)
This time I decided to make a surprise to my blog friend and I've sewed for Blanca, her sweet daughter. She looks so happy, so I guess she liked it!
Now a little about the dress, the construction is quite easy and the instructions are flawless. The pieces come together perfectly and the end result is very good. There are some options, collar no collar, no sleeves and different sleeve lengths, piping no piping. It runs from 12M up to 10Y.
As this is a vintage inspired dress I decided to go for a vintage look fabric I had on my stash for too long, this was the perfect project to use it.
But this is not all... Look there's another Sunday Picnic Dress!!!

There is a lot of Sunday Picnic Dresses "walking" around. They are all prety awsome!
Today on the Tour with me...

  3. OH, love the way you played with the fabrics for the first dress. The second one also looks so sweet. It is nice to see how different fabrics change the overlook of the dress. Thank you for sharing :)
