Ballard Blog Tour

I normally sew clothes for kids but lately I have been sewing a little bit for me... and I have to say I'm enjoying. Today I bring you the Ballard Top by Straight Stitch Design! I was impressed by how fast I've made it, it took me around 1h30 from assembling the pattern to have it ready to wear! I LOVEEEEE a fast sew!
I made a sweatshirt for Little Giant (here) and a dress for Teresinha (here) with a fabric I love and sooo comfortable, I was really envy and wanted something for me too, this top was a perfect pattern for it! Now I can go matching with my kids! LOL (although I don't think we will ever go around in the same fabric)
Kimberly did a great job with this top, has a great design, it's really comfortable and the instructions are very easy to follow with a lot of pictures for each step (I like pictures a lot).
The description is flattering in the front and party in the back... oohh I love the back!
I did the pattern exactly as it was, no changes, but Kimberly explains really well how you can make it short/long. Kimberly Added some versions and I needed to try! So I made another one... I've been using it quite a lot!!!
Until the end of the blog tour the pattern can be bought exclusively @ IndieSew, but from 3rd November you can get it directly @ Straight Stitch Designs.
This is a great pattern for a beginner, plus there's a sew along on IndieSew...
