Happy anniversary OTTOBRE!!!

Grab a cup of coffee, seat comfortably, breath... this is a long one!

I found Ottobre when it started to be published in spanish (if you are new here, I'm Portuguese but I live in Spain). I started to buy the magazine at that time, more than one year ago. Since the major part of the designs are in knit only recently I've started to use it. It's great! The fit of everything I've made so far is perfect... The instructions are not very extensive, but I guess it's like that for the major part of the sewing magazines. Marta launched the idea and our group of Portuguese sewing bloggers friends start planning it right away!

Take a sip of your tea and keep reading, there's a huge giveaway at the end ;)

Today it's my turn and I've made Teresinha a sweater and 2 t-shirts! Off course my plans were far more ambitious, but as usual I've run out of time... Francisco's ones are on the cutting table waiting for some of my free time.

N.5 - 1/2015
I love this one! Do you recognize the fabric? I've used the left over form my favourite pair of pants (here)! Oh NOSH (sight...)!
N.11 4/2014
I need to stock on t-shirts, they have big rotation on the kids closets. It's cold and a long sleeve is used all the time! I hacked the pattern and added a collar. I love to see little girls with collars. In terms of fabric... Can you guess? Yes, more Nosh. I'm addicted! Tks Ines for my new found addiction in fabric!
N. 23 1/2015
I've finished the t-shirt yesterday evening, so no time for modelled photos... It's not very clear on the picture, but it has a peplum, lovely detail!

ARE YOU UP FOR SOME PRIZES? We are giving away not 1, but 5 annual subscriptions of Kids+Women issues and a 50€ Voucher on Ottobre Esty shop, all courtesy of Ottobre Magazine. That's not all... We got together to offer you a 30€ Voucher on Maças d'Amor shop! I wish I could enter the giveaway...

a Rafflecopter giveaway HAPPY ANNIVERSARY OTTOBRE!!! Keep bringing those cool designs!

I'm impressed with what I've seen so far my friends... and can't wait for the ones to come!

  6. Adoro o tecido amarelo das estrelas, tenho-o em preto. Está uma fofa! Eu que não sou grande fã de golas, acho que a tua miúda fica o máximo. Gosto muito da combinação rosa-cinzento!
